Yesteryear Collection

By 1905, most of France had begun the transition from horse-pulled trams to motor buses, and the Metro underground was opening new routes. One of the finer vehicles to emerge at this time was the Renault single-deck bus.
In 1909, Renault constructed its first heavy-duty model - a 3-ton model with a 4-cylinder engine. Next came the Renault bus, a 21-seat single-decker featuring a radiator between the driver and the passengers, interior heat run by exhaust gas and pneumatic tyres. the bus was a welcome sight on the streets of Paris.
And now, this antique bus is back in a model that captures a wealth of fascinating detail - including the lanterns in front and the hand brake in the drivers compartment. It will be welcomed by collectors who appreciate fine workmanship in vintage die-cast models.
